After more than two decades representing clients in high-stakes tax disputes, Brian Huebsch established and leads 53 Tax Law, PLLC to deliver strategic, practical, and personal representation to individuals, businesses, and professionals facing complex tax matters.
He continues to build his career on demystifying the tax process and protecting taxpayers from the intimidation tactics often used by taxing authorities. Known for his calm, straightforward approach and deep technical expertise, he helps clients navigate audits, investigations, and litigation with confidence. His goal is simple - to protect his clients’ rights and ensure they pay no more than what the law requires.
In addition to representing taxpayers, Brian also defends accountants and tax professionals in disciplinary and malpractice proceedings before the Colorado State Board of Accountancy, AICPA, and IRS offices of professional oversight.
A respected voice in the tax community, Brian regularly lectures at continuing education programs and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver’s Graduate Tax Program, teaching federal and state employment tax law.
